Introducing Spanish as a Reference Language of the World Road Association Road Dictionary- A Genuine Challenge

The PIARC Road Dictionary is an amalgamation of nine dictionaries that previously formed the basis of the PIARC Terminology Database. At present, it contains some 16,300 concepts. Approximately 3,000 of these are provided with definitions in the reference languages of English and French. The percentage of updated content varies between the thirty-five languages featured in the electronic version of the Dictionary. Unfortunately, many of these language versions are incomplete and must be revised to bring them up to date. For instance, 10% of the Spanish version of the Dictionary is up to date.
