Annual production of medium/heavy military rotorcraft has declined significantly since 2013, falling from 667 rotorcraft that year to an estimated 473 in 2017. In general, the next 10 years will see a continuation of this decline, though at a much more gradual rate. Indeed, through much of this period, the market can be expected to be somewhat stable, with yearly output remaining within a range from 420 to 480 units at least through 2026.
