Diesel Engine Technology Meets EPA Standards

Significant modifications to on-highway heavy-duty diesel engines have taken place to meet the federal air quality regulations that went into effect in January of this year. There are more changes to come, but 2004 will set the tone for the diesel technology that will be required to conform to emission restrictions coming in 2007 and 2010.
