Light Compaction Equipment

Light compaction equipment continues to grow in popularity because of the increased number of models available and the improved performance in a wider variety of applications. They offer numerous advantages because they are lightweight, easy to handle, require little training, and can be easily transported to any job site in the bed of a pickup. Several new remote-control trench compactors have been recently introduced in response to the demand for greater safety. Before looking at recent product updates and/or introductions, following is a quick review of the various types of light compaction equipment currently available on the market.
