The RHA Annual Lunch was a great success with 17% higher attendance than in 2014. Nearly 400 members, industry professionals and staff gathered on 12 May to celebrate, reflect on a momentous year for the organisation and to hear Richard Burnett lay out his plans for the future of the RHA. The lunch, which was supported by big industry names Castrol Vecton, Telogis, DHL, Greenroad and RHA Legal Services, featured BBC Breakfast anchor Bill Turnbull who brought his famous sofa and proceeded to interview chief executive Richard Burnett. Burnett has become something of a fixture on BBC Breakfast in recent months as part of his drive for the RHA to become the first port of call when the media talks trucks, so he took his appearance on the 'Annual Lunch Sofa' in his stride.
