Victory for common sense as Coventry rejects CAZ scheme

Coventry Council has been forced to reconsider its CAZ plans for the city after its initial proposals for a charging zone were rejected by residents and businesses. The council's scheme would have imposed a charge on all vehicles that did not meet emission standards. Its rejection following a consultation in December 2018 was welcomed by the RHA as a victory for common sense.
