I joined Sheppard Robson last July because I was attracted by the type of work taken on by the practice. I felt on leaving University that I needed to build on my technical knowledge and wanted to achieve a greater understanding of technical drawing, materials and their application in real projects. I joined the education sector in the practice and worked with Tony Poole, one of the partners, on a new 700-room student residence scheme for Brunei University in west London.
