Fresh from her 'Boiler House' competition success at the V&A, Amanda Levete was back in the news last month; though with less praise. Her firm has submitted for planning a twisting 25-storey mixed-use residential scheme in London's historic Shoreditch. Unfortunately forthe architect, formidable nimby representation here comes from the likes of YBA'S Rachel Whiteread and Tim Noble and Sue Webster; Tower Hamlets has already had 500 letters objecting to the proposal.
