We try to visit Brazil once a year, particularly Rio de Janeiro. The city is full of fascinating Oscar Niemeyer architecture among many other attractions. Last year, we spent a long weekend in Buzios, a small beach resort 100 miles or so from the city. During the drive out we stumbled on one of Niemeyer's most interesting if possibly least internationally well-known creations. It's right in the middle of the countryside and yet seemed an exact replica of a more familiar building in Rio.
