In the recent surge of New Ornamentalist projects even the likes of Caruso St John have come up with nothing like this - a whole room made of shells. Referencing 18th century picturesque grottoes, Yorkshire based Linda Fenwick's work springs from an early obsession. She made shell curios as a child, and the scale grew as she did. With each commission painstakingly done by hand, she's looking to 'go commercial', though how she'll manage the workloadshort of turning into an octopus - is anyone's guess.
