Development of Eco-friendly Coating Technology Paints and Coating System for Primer/Top Coat Wet-on Coating

摘要

To reduce VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and CO{sub}2 emission exhausted from paint shops, low solvent content paints and a new coating system that enable the primer/top coat to be applied wet on wet have been developed. With this technology, the baking process of the primer is eliminated, which allows coating cost to be reduced while maintaining coating quality equal to or better than the conventional system.
