An electrically conductive paint system, especially for the production of conductive coatings on plaster, concrete, wood and plasterboard, comprises an acid-reacting primer and coat(s) of conductive polymer paint, optionally with metal foil and a decorative outer layer. An Independent claim is also included for a paint system in which the conductive polymer paint is applied directly to the substrate if the substrate is acidic or chemically inert.
