Hibiscus sabdariffa (Roselle) stem fiber was graft copolymerized and further used to explore the additive effects of secondary monomer in binary vinyl monomeric mixture. The graft copolymers were characterized by advanced techniques, like FUR and SEM, and evaluated for morpbological transition by X-ray powder diffraction. With an increase in percentage grafting, there was a constant decrease in crystallinity and crystalline index. However, cellulose form I remained unchanged. The diffractogram clearly magnifies the transition from raw fiber to highest grafted copolymer by comparative studies, 'these modified graft copolymer procured from waste biomass had physico-chemico-tbermal resistance, hydrophobicily, and miscibility with the organic solvents for numerous scientific applications.
