Dear Editor: This world of ours is turned upside down. Uncounted reams of publicity attend every little annoying tick of the British "royals," and so little for our own home-grown variety. Yet, amidst all the selfish, short-sighted and destructive movements in our country that can otherwise lead us to pull out our hair, it is the nobility of people like Oregon recycler Steve Apotheker, who last month died too young from multiple systems atrophy, that confirms an intrinsic sanity and equanimity at our core.
