According to many industry players, the same old song of 2016 is continuing to ring true - the strong dollar, weak overseas demand (cue complaining about Chinese dumping) and inconsistent consumption domestically have pushed prices down. But even still, reports from ISRI's Ferrous Roundtable in Chicago in late September stated that "processors should focus on more pressing issues than prices including the dearth of supply and the impact of the ongoing industry consolidation."
