That's not the case for Rumpke Waste and Recycling, a Cincinnati-headquartered integrated waste management company that sends glass to its own advanced processing facility. The operation cleans up the material for the bottle and fiberglass markets. Rumpke is the only major U.S. hauler to own and operate a secondary glass processing facility, according to the Glass Packaging Institute.
