Foresight and innovation need each other. Too often, presentations about developing trends leave managers excited about the future, ready to act, but stranded without ways to apply the insights to their own businesses. Conversely, innovation processes are fruitless without some way to identify the future opportunity spaces where innovation can pay off big. Flash Foresight by Daniel Burrus splits the difference nicely, matching a useful set of trends with advice about how to apply them.
