摘要

Existing technology using bundle technology with Drilling & Well (D&W) templates, typically consists of a bundle with a manifold in a towhead. The manifold is installed inside the towhead, so that the manifold and bundle can be towed to the target location. The bundle and towhead are installed on the seabed in proximity to the D&W template having a D&W manifold for connecting to the wells. To interface the bundle to the D&W template, so that fluids can be transferred between the wells and the bundle, spools are tied in and connected between the manifold in the towhead and the D&W manifold on the D&W template. Hence, the existing technology requires two manifolds (the manifold in the towhead and the D&W manifold on the template). In addition, marine operations related to tie-in and connection of spools between the two manifolds is required. The current proposal relates to a simplified system that only requires one manifold being a D&W manifold directly connected to a bundle, which at the same time benef ts from the present marine operations on installation of bundle and towhead.
