This is the first in a new series called Historical Dictionaries of Professions and Industries. Scarecrow Press are ever inventive with new lines and this latest series looks like being a very useful reference tool. I was lucky enough to be working in Japan in the early 1970s and know that Japanese industrial standards have long been the benchmark for quality products within Asia, indeed within the world.
