Uniformity Across the Board PMI praises passage of 'The Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act'

Plumbing Manufacturers International and its members successfully urged congressional leaders to expedite the passage of "The Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act" (S. 3874) during the "lame duck" session that concluded 2010. President Obama signed the bill into law on January 4, 2011. PMI provided significant direction and crafted a strategy to advance it through the legislative process. Everyone in the U.S. can benefit from dramatically lowering the standard for lead.
