Thornbury Castle arrives at the GCR

YET-TO-BE-RESTORED GWR 4-6-0 7027 Thornbury Castle has been sold to an unnamed purchaser, described as a "significant supporter" of the Great Central Railway, three months after owner Jonathan Jones-Pratt offered it for sale. The earliest unrestored loco to leave Barry Scrapyard (1972), its restoration is expected to cost Elm.
