Record loadings have been reported for Northern's new Leeds-Nottingham service, the launch of which has been commemorated with the naming of 158791 as County of Nottinghamshire.rnThe service is being worked by Leeds-based Class 158s and reintroduces a service axed in the 1980s. Northern has also launched a new Leeds-Manchester Victoria stopping service, which runs via Dewsbury and Brighouse, and which has seen the Class 144s appearing in the Manchester area for the firstrntime. The service cuts journey times for commuters from the upper Calder Valley who would formerly have had to travel on services via Halifax and Bradford.
