Four more 11-car 390s

Four more of Virgin's Pendolino EMUs have emerged from Manchester's Longsight Depot extended from nine coaches to 11 as part of a capacity improvement scheme for the West Coast Main Line. 390151 Virgin Ambassador received its extra two coaches and was released to traffic on August 21, with 390128 City of Preston following on August 27. 390126 Virgin Enterprise returned to traffic on September 3 with 390134 City of Carlisle having work completed on September 12. All the sets have been renumbered from the 390/0 series to the 390/1 series as they are extended.
