Deltic main line plan moves forward

The group which has restored the National Railway Museum's Deltic 55002 The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry back to running condition is close to finishing the loco's main line certification. The plan is for the loco to visit Barrow Hill after the June 2-10 Railfest event at York. After it has been load bank tested at the Staveley depot the loco will move to the East Lancashire Railway for 60mph testing.
