Luxembourg tramway opens

The first section of Luxembourg's 16 km tramway opened on December 10, with free travel until the end of January. The 8 km section between Luxexpo and Pafendall-Rout Breck in the Kirchberg district serves six intermediate stops. The full route is expected to open in 2021 and would link Luxembourg Airport with Cloche d'Or, serving the principal main line station.
