Angelina & Neches River PC&F 50' Boxcar

While somewhat involved, this model makes use of much of the original car-body, along with some scrap-box pieces and readily available fine detail parts that are easy to procure. The result is a unique, eye-catching model that is certainly a favorite among the boxcars in my fleet. The best part about any kitbash or similar modeling project is the sense of accomplishment when the model is finished. By building something, there may not be another model anywhere like it. Small imperfections are nothing to be ashamed of (and often barely noticed by most people besides yourself). I say they're a sign of learning and genuine modeling effort, which is to be appreciated in this day and age.
