Catering suppliers ballot for strike

Allegations of management harassment prompted a planned four-day strike from July 14 at Rail Gourmet's Edinburgh base, from where the company supplies East Coast operator LNER. A ballot of 20 RMT union members unanimously voted for action. It is claimed that they were bullied into inventing COVID symptoms to ensure they were tested after an outbreak. The company is investigating the claims.
