This World Railway Congress is a unique opportunity for us to exchange views on the subject of transport policy and railway development strategy at the beginning of the 21st century. Its findings will be of great use to us in our future work. For myself, it is also an excellent occasion to report on the most significant development trends in OSJD member countries.
