Bombardier, Angel and London Overground are understood to have reached an agreement for the Class 172 sets to enter service with the TOC, although restricted to a maximum speed of 60 mile/h until a modification to the exhaust system is carried out (RB1368 p1).rnAccording to industry insiders, Bombardier has agreed to modify the sets once a new design has been agreed, but Angel Trains has reserved the right to hand the sets back to Bombardier at no cost should the modification not meet its requirements.
