Passenger-km to hit 54 billion in 2010-11

ORR National Rail Trends data for Quarter 3 of 2010-11 (October 1 to December 31 2010) reveals an increase of 4-4°/o in passenger-km over the previous year, despite earlier than usual disruption due to snow from late November 2010. Regional TOCs turned in the best Q3/Q3 result with a 5-2％ rise, closely followed by London ft South East at 5-1％. Long-Distance TOCs only managed a 2-8% year-on-year increase.
