ATW pay dispute continues

Industrial action by ASLEF at Arriva Trains Wales saw trie TOC unable to run services on February 27 and 28, as well as on March 6. A further 24 h stoppage by drivers was due to take place on March 12, but was suspended following 'productive discussions' with the TOC. ATW insists that it has made a 'generous' pay offer of 12% over two years, which would bring a driver's salary to ￡39 117 for a 35 h average week.
