More DRS cruise charters

Freight operator Direct Rail Services is expanding its luxury charter business originally launched in 2008 in partnership with Cruise Saver Travel. During the 2011-12 season, DRS will operate first class trains with a full dining service from Glasgow or Edinburgh to Southampton Eastern Docks where they will run directly to the quayside. The first train is due to leave Edinburgh Waverley on April 19 and pick up cruise passengers at Newcastle, Leeds and Solihull. The Glasgow service will call at Preston and Stockport.
