New station for Conon Bridge

Scottish Transport Minister Keith Brown announced on September 19 that work is due to start this month on a new station at Conon Bridge, 2 miles south of Dingwall on the route from Inverness.The former Highland Railway station at Conon closed in 1960, but little remains today and the new station will be built on the same site at a cost of £600 000.
