Tunnel breached on Moorgate branch

The driver of the 10.02 First Capital Connect service from Moorgate to Welwyn Garden City on March 8 was alarmed to see muddy water pouring through the lining of the northbound tunnel onto his train shortly after leaving Old Street at about 10.09. He immediately reported the incident. The branch from Finsbury Park to Moorgate was closed as soon as the train reached the surface at Drayton Park.
