Welsh electrification firming up

Asked by Lord German whether Great Western Main Line electrification would include both the Main (Fast) and Relief (Slow) lines between Severn Tunnel Junction and Cardiff, Transport Minister Baroness Kramer told the House of Lords on November 5 that Network Rail had been instructed to wire both pairs of tracks, with completion through to Cardiff planned by 'winter 2017'.
