No GWML in ERTMS answer

Responding to a written question from Conservative MP for Woking Jonathan Lord on progress with implementation of ERTMS, Transport Minister Claire Perry told the House of Commons on January 27 that Network Rail is funded to deliver the national roll-out and is 'working closely with cross-industry stakeholders to do so". According to Perry, the first application will be the core section of the Thameslink route 'in mid-2018' and the southern section of the East Coast Main Line between London King's Cross and Peterborough 'from 2018'.
