Bidders prequalify for Digital Railway pilot

Industry insiders repoTt that Alstom and Siemens have dominated the lists of suppliers who have pTequal-ified to bid for Network Rail's pilot Digital Railway integration scheme on the routes from Norwich to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft (RBl505 p2). The OJEU notice seeking expressions of interest had divided the tender into three lots, with Lot 1 covering the supply of ETCS. Lot 2 covers the supply of the Traffic Management System, and Lot 3 ETCS and TMS combined.
