The receiver has a fast Fourier transforms (FFT) part (140) receiving a signal from a frequency offset correction part (130), and converting time domain of the received signal into frequency domain. A channel equalization part (150) compensates channel distortion about the received signal from the FFT part. A frequency offset/pilot location estimate part (200) estimates frequency offset and scattered pilot location by using a scattered pilot of the received signal of the FFT part. A maximum value detector detects a scattered pilot positioning estimation signal.
