British Steel revival

June 1 was the first day of trading for British Steel, as the former Long Products Europe business of Tata Steel UK had been rebranded following its acquisition by Grey-bull Capital (RBI508 p5). British Steel's UK operations include the Scunthorpe integrated steelworks which supplies most of Network Rail's rail requirements, as well as an engineering workshop in Workington and a York-based infrastructure design consultancy.
