Caledonian Sleeper ahead of riqht-time target

Caledonian Sleeper has expressed its 'disappointment' at falling to the bottom of the PPM table (p7) in Period 1 of 2017-18 with a score of 79.3%. This followed periods 12 and 13 when the TOC had achieved 'record-breaking' right-time scores of 88.1% and 89.2% (RB1532 p7) respectively, bringing the right-time MAA up to 79.9% at the end of 2016-17. Well ahead of the target of 75%, this also represented a year-on-year increase of 6.1 percentage points (RB1508 p6), 'something we are very proud of the TOC told RBl. Caledonian Sleeper is unique in having performance targets set on the basis of right time rather than PPM in its franchise agreement, the right-time MAA being 'the key measure' where the TOC is now 'comfortably ahead of the 75% target'.
