RMT strikes again at Northern

RMT has announced a second 24 h strike by its guard and driver members at Northern (RB1530 p8), due to take place on April 8 as members also take industrial action at Merseyrail and Southern. The union says that Northern has failed to give clear guarantees on the future safety-critical role of the guard.
