When I first read about his book I was not that excited by the idea of reading a regimental history. However, I was very pleased when the book arrived to find that it was a profusely illustrated, clearly written book. It is not just about the Signal Corps but also includes some very good explanatory articles about radio, telephones, computers, the internet, and so on. Besides, it can be viewed as a history of British military campaigns over the last 100 years. This is a book that will be of great interest to those who have served in the Armed Forces but also to those with an interest in military history and how the army has adapted to new technologies.
