I've always loved twins so when I was given the chance to review this latest model I had no hesitation in agreeing. When electric flight was in its infancy one of the positive points always brought up by the aficionados was that you could build multi-motored model and never have to worry about an engine cut. This was with brushed motors all run by one ESC and, heavy, large NiCad battery pack. With the advent of brushless motors and LiPo batteries we now are coming back to the situation where a twin will be powered by two separate drive trains, as this E-flite Deuces Wild, bringing back the possibility of unbalanced thrust as the batteries run down; even so, the possibility of a total loss of power on one side is negligible.
