Thrust Meter

A recently published article on my purpose-designed FPV Trainer 'EffPeeVee' (also a RCMW plan - order code MW3471) generated some interest in the device used to measure thrust from the twin-engined model. The little thrust meter was put together in less than an hour from scraps of balsa and Lite-Ply. It is not original as I can recollectrnusing something similar about twenty years ago when I was experimenting with ducted fans. These days, however, the ready availability of cheap, accurate, digital scales makes the whole thing much more convenient (and accurate).
