With the kind permission of the Station Commander the Jet Modellers Association held their annual post AGM flying day at RAF Shawbury. Gaining access to fly at an active RAF airfield is never easy, but the members of the resident model club on the station fully understand the task in hand and, having started the initial planning for this event well in advance, it came as no surprise that all participants were quickly in receipt of the relevant passes and escorted across the airfield to the flying site with the utmost of efficiency.
