More news from Gerald Maull concerning his Sopwith 11/2 Strutter, which he built from the Traplet plan, MW2248: "Dear Kevin, Thank you for your feature on my model in the August 2014 issue of RCMW. I bought my copy only today and was astonished to see its photo on page 9! The Strutter took to the air for the first time on July 22nd. The Club Chair, Eddie Barker, flew two brilliant test flights off Wroughton airfield. The model flew virtually straight off the building board, needing no ballast and only slight trim adjustments. It handled perfectly and Eddie's landings showed its outstanding slow flying ability. I now look forward to flying it myself.
