Back-fill Grouting Model Test for Shield Tunnel

摘要

Back-fill grouting of a shield-driven tunnel is significant not only for its effect of sta- bilizing the surrounding ground but also for that of acting as a load on tunnel. Back-fill grouting model tests have been carried out and the behavior of tunnel and the surrounding ground is discussed in this paper. Ground displacement and acting load on the model tunnel were measured during the grouting. As a result of the model testing, it is found that injec- tion pressure and ground densities significantly influence pressure of the tunnel and ground displacement.
