Aggregate Industries choose Hewitt Robins

Hewitt Robins International (HRI) have recently supplied five new screens to Aggregate Industries' Newbold Quarry, at Barton, near Burton-on-Trent. The HRI screens include: a 4,200mm long × 2,200mm wide LPE-I I horizontal vibration screen capable of handling in excess of 160 tonnes/h of -6mm sand and water (60% solids by weight to separate excess grit); and a 6,000mm long × 1,800mm wide LPE-9 horizontal vibrating screen capable of processing 100 tonnes/h of -I mm sand and water (50% solids by weight to separate coarse lignite with fine sand and water passing through).
