Environmental consultancy firm Vibrock are expanding their V901 digital seismograph range with the launch of a new model in early 2010. The latest V901 unit is expected to have built-in GSM capability giving the user a number of remote operational benefits, including downloading data and alerting a site staff member when an alarm condition is detected via text and/orvoice message to a mobile phone.rnThe V901 has been designed to measure ground-borne vibration in compliance with BS 7385, BS 5228 and the new BS 6472 Part 1: 2008 standard for measuring VDV, as well as other corresponding international standards.
