EPC-UK begin migration to ISO 45001: 2018

EPC-UK, specialists in commercial explosives and blasting services, have begun their migration process to ISO 45001:2018. Already accredited with the OHSAS 18001 British Standard for occupational health and safety systems, the company will implement the new international standard for health and safety at work by 12 March 2021. The new standard has been developed by national and international standards committees, independent of government, to further ensure that companies provide safe and healthy workplaces. By successfully implementing the new structure, EPC-UK will be able to demonstrate compliance with health and safety law. Furthermore, working to the standard will play a valuable role in the company's delivery of customer and worker protection, whilst providing a level playing field for trade with other countries.
